Faces and real people
You may upload your own face, or the face of a person who has given you permission to put them on your thumbnails. Before the first face upload you confirm this in the app, and we keep a record of that confirmation.
You may not upload or generate the likeness of a public figure, a celebrity, a politician, or any private person who has not agreed. You may not make anyone appear to say or do something they did not say or do in a way that could mislead or harm them.
No images of minors, ever, in any context.
Content we do not allow
- Sexual content, nudity, or content that sexualises anyone.
- Hate, harassment, threats, or content that targets a person or group because of who they are.
- Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies self-harm.
- Fraud, scams, impersonation of a brand, or fake news presented as real.
- Anything that breaks the law where you are or where we are.
Platform rules
What you upload to YouTube or any other platform must also follow that platform's rules. A thumbnail that misleads viewers about the video can get your channel penalised. We build tools for clear, honest, high-contrast covers. Use them that way.
Abuse of the service
One person, one account. No scripts, bots, or bulk automation against the app. No sharing, selling, or renting accounts or credits. No attempts to get around limits, watermarks, or the credit system. No reverse engineering of the model prompts or the service.
What happens if you break these rules
We may remove content, pause renders, suspend the account, or close it, with or without notice, depending on how serious it is. Spent credits are not refunded when an account is closed for abuse. We may report illegal content to the authorities.
Report something
If you see a thumbnail made with Thumbnail Bench that breaks these rules, or that uses your likeness or your work without permission, write to [email protected]. Include the image and a link to where you found it. We answer within two business days.
